I sent a card, but since I am so far away,
I am not sure that it arrived on time to say,

From pushing me "over the top" on the swing,
To helping me with math, building bridges and other scholarly things
You are always the wind beneath my wings
I admire your kindness, intelligence, strength, and wit
You taught me to keep going, never quit
And when I had a goal, to go out and work for it
What I really want to say, Dad, is that I have learned a lot from you,
